This scholarship is open to students commencing or continuing the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with the wider goal of growing diverse and innovative engineering solutions to farm safety.

Value:

• Stipend of AUD $36,000 per year
• Maximum period of tenure of an award is 3 years. Periods of study already undertaken towards the degree will be deducted from the period of tenure.

Eligibility:

To be eligible applicants must:

• have met the entry requirement criteria for the Doctor of Philosophy (DPHD);
• have applied for, or currently enrolled in a PhD at UniSQ;
• not be receiving equivalent support providing a benefit greater than 75% of the

student’s stipend rate;

• be eligible to commence or continue their study in 2025.

Selection Criteria:

Applicants will be ranked on the basis of:

• Academic achievement and the potential for scholastic success;
• Quality of the research proposal;
• Demonstrated expertise in engineering solutions;
• Demonstrated interest in farm safety.

• Education qualifications (testamur and academic transcripts for all undergraduate and postgraduate awards;
• Documentation confirming citizenship.

Applicants must have their current/prospective supervisor complete the Supervisor support letter.
